# Agenda Practice
This is a trial regarding an alternative way to do agendas and structure business meetings. First a definition:
## Business Meeting (decision focussed meeting)
As per [Agile, and Transparent](/px3W7Sv1Q5OW9Yohgnmx8A) principles, we should have as little bureacracy and documentation as possible. this means we focus radically on the following set of actions and principles:
1. Every meeting has an owner (stool or chair)
2. Stools should be rotated
4. An agenda should be made by everyone before the meeting
5. [Action points] should be documented
6. Every agreed action has one responsible person
7. All [Discussion is to be forgotten](/EnpWvu43SZ6Q6Q06Oc2tmQ)
8. Anything not covered => another type of meeting
9. Meetings to be as short as possible
## The point of (business or decision) meetings
The point is to decide - that is to create [Action Points](/nTMUCiJ3Q3-TCKKMGo46hQ). The point is not to learn, or discuss, or share wisdom and knowledge - those activities are for other (types of) meeting. Business meetings are boring - the point is to keep them short (hard) and focussed on decisions - freeing up the time and space for discussion elsewhere.
