# Earth Day Festival to COP 26

GaiaFest is a multidimensional meta-narrative for Gaia. Each year she contains several narrative elements that converge on a single date each year in a networked art festival - gaifest.org (working domain)

### GaiaFest is a decentralised climate action festival (deCAF).
In simple terms a deCAF festival is a coordinated set of gatherings, artworks and activities in which all participants share some common infrastructure that facilitates and encourages people to take action rather than remain passive observers. This may be to dance, scream, join or support imaginative projects that take climate action. A deCaf festival will often but not always have a narrative focus, and a central geographic focus.

# Program Overview
The first core festival will take place at COP26 in Glasgow **(November 1-12 2021)**. A call for rehearsals will go out on Earth Day **(April 21st-22nd 2021)**.

## Earth Day Theme: "Restore Our Earth"

**The Virtual festival** will consist of performances,music and artistic intervensions. While the **The Virtual Conference** will focus on workshops, panels, discussions and more.
