# Albaydar.Earth
## Background

Albayder (in Arabic, the ancient threashing floor) is building a community owned and driven global market space for regenarative products. We are collaborating with other partners in the open-source and P2P to cover both the local economic processes, and the exchange with different agents in different countries in one market holonic ecology driven by regnerative production, building communities with passion and love as infinite source of creative currency. Beside the projects by other mutuals who are focousing on the processes taking place on the local level, Albayder is focusing on bringing responsible consumers abroad and margenalized local producers together. We are buidling the "trading" technology, so that responsible consumers can organize bundle orders through their non-profit Community Hubs (CH), to where the purchase of regenarative products will be delivered, collected and celebrated. These products are sourced from producers in developing country playing a role in ending poverity and speration in the world. Orders will be splitted and rebundled after production on palettes in each of those countries at an "export gateway" for shipment. Then palette(s) purchase of each CH will be delivered directly to desitination. Albaydar will maintaine no wahrehouses. Only one station for rebundling works at the country Gateway. This station can be a remote one at any of the processors sites according to batch/contingent order needed space and its availability.

We envision as much transperancy as possible through the supply chain (fairchain.org), giving producers the option to add relevant figures, such as their purchase price from cooperatives, etc.

After running the MVP in Palestine (see below) and have etablished the legal framework for Albaydar non-profit enterprise, and getting (crowd)funds to build the alfa version of the platfrom, we will start building the gateway infrastructure in other countries scaling up the solution.


Wherever Albaydar will be active, we will introduce any local economy food systems or regenerative solution developed by other decentralized applications. We are excited about **Holochain** protocols that will make this possible.

2. People with background immigration in the EU who are willing to purchase and support their homeland products/producers. They often members of cultural or professional non-profit organizations. Through the planned platform/marketspace they can organize a community hub in their recidency to orgnize bundle order
4. Ecological "Unverpackt"/"Unpackaged" shops with focus on Coops and Non-profit
5. Freelancers and Supporter, who want to help regenerative producers to develop their products, packaging and businesses
6. Any organization offering regenarative solutions, like for integrating Open Hardware systems, Rainwater harvesting, Ecosystem restoration and Landscape Design, ..

### Profit-Sharing
With our business model we want to support the community culture as Impact Hubs, therefore each CH will take part on the reveneue (x%) created by its members. The calculations for that are not completed yet. But we think it will be 5-10%. We are planing a feature where consumers can pay/donate more on top on a base price in form of a donation (to avoid paying sales tax), which will be splitted equally over the supply chain stakeholders. Any profit will be reninvested immediatly in new regnerative business and projects at the BoP (Base of Pyramid), so we try to run most of the time with zero fiat capital.

# Building Partnerships to launch the Albaydar.Earth MVP
Here we write about the research efforts to establish partnerships with different stakeholder to get the MVP/Pilot-Test running

## The Pilot/MVP and need for partnership
The pilot project we are building partnerships in favor is taking place between Producers in Palestine and Consumers commuinties in Germany/EU.
Our target is to build a website that includes a manual model for the business case desciribed above, Alibaba-like multivendor eCommerce solution. Therefore we are building relationships with strategic partners in following categroeis:
1. Strategic Design partners and Mutuals
2. Supply side: In Palestine where prove of concept and pilot producers country (We have chosen Paletine for many reasons)
3. Demand side: Germany/EU

### Holo-REA, Shiro, Lightwave
We have startd a long term collaboration for a Holo-REA design base with **Shiro** and **Lightwave**, where we will build our user cases and interfaces on the same ontology given by REA and valueflo.ws in order to come with an integrated system ontology. Also Open Food System is informed about our intention. First collab design workshops will take place on 3. Feb.

Our market niche are unable to order directly from the producers abroad opposed by price damping and middlemen market monopoly, which is threatening, for example, over 900 small community shops of the nonprofit umbrella organization “Weltladen” in Germany to shut down, even they are the one who started the whole Fairtrade movement in Europe. We are looking to partnership them with to start our MVP.
