## Background

Tom Rohrer is a professional skateboarder who has been riding an extremely nounish skateboard since October 2022. During his time as a Gnars rider, he and his wife have grown their brand Tom's Tutorials from 0 to 80k fans. Tom and Jacintia recently surpassed 3 million views across Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube.


The majority of those views came from videos like these, where he teaches his audience how to do an extensive catalog of skateboarding tricks. He has also received countless comments asking where he got his nounish decks, from which he directs people to Nouns and invites them to join Gnars.

## Gnars DAO

Federation allows us to vote as a community, controlling Nouns 189 and 542 together, also with new release, we can submit proposals while maintaint delegation to our Federation contract. As a community we add value with collective governance over two nouns, but also bring together an immensely creative group of athletes, artists and fans etc.

## Decks - 🤘🤘 Edition

This artwork may or may not be skateable. Rather than simply asking for funding, we've already demonstrated a revenue share from collectibles produced as part of this project, with Nouns DAO. So we are also making this a "Droposal" to deploy "Decks" as an homage to Jack Butcher's recent success and creative inspiration that's invigorating the market.

Mr Boney has created an artwork representative of the 1,000 skateboards we will distribute as part of this proposal.

To add an element of fun for those who don't skate IRL, we've devised a burn to redeem game (rework the Checks game design graphic here) where collectors can combine Decks to redeem rares and 1/1 collabs with artists. Since all the commons have their IRL counterparts distributed, we're reserving NFC enabled rares and 1/1 physicals redeemable as part of the burn mechanics etc.

Make sure mint is 50/50 split with Gnars and Nouns.
