## Bring a million shredders onchain

[Prop 382](https://nouns.wtf/vote/382) to Nouns secured 300k USDC in funding for Gnars to empower action sportspeople through communal funding, collective creation, and shared proceeds:

- A treasury for continuous public terrain park enhancements
- Fund Shredders that represent gnars as community leaders and ambassadors
- Operational funds for rewarding our most notable contributors
- Intuitive onboarding with commemorative QR/NFC plaques
- Enhance Nouns' outreach with subculture expertise

In recent months, we've tightened up how we describe ourselves and what we do, as shown on gnars.com, we're an action sports accelerator and community owned brand:


A big part of our proposed plans are migrating to an L2, specifically Zora network. Upon further research, we believe Base is a better fit for our DAO operations, while we will continue minting our releases to Zora and beyond.

## Jumping to Base

We've been holding off on L2 migration until Builder reached milestones allowing us to make a positive sum contribution. We will tightly integrate with the nounish DAO platform to streamline our efforts and bring unique Gnars features with us.

**Potential timeline:**

1. An official Base Jump co-announcement
2. Small grant contribution from Base to DAOs
3. Technical assistance with Builder integration
4. Countdown marketing campaign to jump
5. Symbolic Bob Burnquist involvement

Essentially a countdown to Base Jump with engagement campaign as we approach the big date. [Need to discuss with Bob and Jesse and others to see what angle we should take and how big we should make this]. Maybe a "Base Jumper" bridge pass NFT that community mints to have some ETH bridged to Base etc?
