# China Banks Crail - First edition minted by Gnars


Following the incredible response to our [Extremely nounish](https://create.zora.co/collections/0xdd930e878bdf23a78573998a451464c5bf56eeca) timed open edition during [Proposal 189](https://nouns.wtf/vote/189), I am proposing that Gnars release this awesome photo of [Kevin Kowalski](https://www.instagram.com/kevin_kowalski) by [Tim Aguilar](https://www.instagram.com/timaguilar), as a timed open edition.

Inspired by [Nouns Proposal 190](https://nouns.wtf/vote/190), this will be the first time that Gnars DAO mints and releases action sports media as a source of revenue.

By minting from the DAO via a proposal, we will be second only to Nouns DAO in dropping an NFT directly as a result of a governance vote. An NFT drop deployed via a DAO proposal is what I like to call a "[Droposal](https://create.zora.co/collections/0x3995036a238409e5ebb9b92ff06aaee3e5afae93)."

This photo will be released as a Timed Open Edition for a price of 0.015 ETH for a period of 7 days. Proceeds will be split between Gnars (34%), Kevin Kowalski (33%) and Tim Aguilar (33%) using a [0xSplits](https://www.0xsplits.xyz/) contract.

The timed open edition will be minted with Zora and will be available to mint onchain and at gnars.com/gnar001.
