# Hauswarming


**Requesting 24 ETH** (6 x 4 ETH) to facilitate a series of international Hauswarming events that coincide with the second Nouniversary commencing 8 August 2023.

## 🕰 Background

At its core, Art Haus is about supporting artists, and creating a community that values collaboration and curation in the creation of unique and meaningful works of art.

We believe that this combination of support, collaboration, and curation will lead to the creation of truly unique and meaningful works of art.

Daily auction proceeds of the DAO are used to commission works for release into the public domain. Proposals are used to deploy these as NFT drops (aka droposals) and minting proceeds are split between each commissioned artist and our DAO treasury.

All treasury funds are intended to perpetuate the concept further. The story architecture of art.haus droposals is structured in seasons and chapters to curate and commission groups of artists in the intersection of art, technology and pop-cultures.

## 📋 Guidelines

Hauswarming event faciliation is at the discretion of each keyholder (member) nominated in this proposal. For the sake of consistency and streamlining, the below recommendations should be considered when planning:

- Resident artist commission (1 ETH) live creation
- Guest artist curated by resident (1 ETH) also live
- Event facilitation (2 ETH) may include:
- Venue hire and exhibit setup
- Drinks and light refreshments
- Merch and promo materials

Each event shall lean into the unique capabilities of the venue at which it is held. As shall the atmosphere, taking into consideration the local culture to ensure an inviting and authentic experience for attendees.

Keyholders have curated resident artists, each of whom have themselves curated a guest artist, and neighbours, who are nounsfolk from adjacent communities to showcase nounish culture.
