# Posting a reflection in a Prepopulated thread in the Discussion System (HTCP)
This is a guide in posting a reflection in a prepopulated thread in the Discussion System whenever you want to submit your reflections from the asynchronous How to Teach at CodePath module.

## Steps:

1. Go to the [Discussion System.](https://discussions.codepath.org/)
2. Confirm if you selected How to Teach at CodePath as the course.
3. Make sure you are in the correct cohort that you're assigned (*applicable only to multi-cohort staff*).
4. Select reflections to show the prepopulated threads for specific units.
5. Select unit reflection.

6. Add your reflections in the thread.
7. Post Your Answer.

# Posting a note in the Discussion System (HTCP)

This is a guide in posting a note in the Discussion System whenever you want to submit your assignments from the asynchronous How to Teach at CodePath module.

## Steps:

1. Follow steps 1-3 above.
2. Select the appropriate submission that you want to complete, in this case should be **Assignments** since you'll be posting your reflections in a prepopulated thread.
3. . Click the **arrow down button** beside Post a Question and click **Post a note**.

4. Write down your reflection or answers to the assignment questions. Be sure to add a title (i.e. Unit 1 - ). The title will serve as a subject when the note is sent out as an email

**NOTE:** Double check if your location (select location from the top menu) is shown on the right side and if you are in the correct cohort.

5. Make sure that the default buttons `All Members` and `Location` were selected.

6. Do a final review of your email and make sure to **check preview**.

7. Post your note.
