#### General Summary
> Provides technical expertise of software systems through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. Ensures that the application/solution is functioning according to specifications. May provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation. Assists customers with any questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding software systems and applications.
#### The responsibilities of this role include:
* Working under close supervision.
* Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions with limited impact; Impact of decisions is readily apparent; errors made typically only impact timeline (i.e., require additional time to correct).
* Using verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.
* Completing most tasks with multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
* Exercising some creativity to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances.
* Using deductive problem solving to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection; some limited data analysis may be required.
#### Principal Duties & Responsibilities
* Provides timely and accurate answers to customer inquiries under the guidance of experienced peers.
* Identifies customer problems and brings them to attention of manager and/or project leads.
* Shares customer input with others on team regarding modifications to Qualcomm solutions.
* Supports root cause analyses on basic customer problems to identify underlying issue.
* Assists customers with integrating Qualcomm software solutions.
* Assists the development team with customizing Qualcomm software to meet customer requirements.
* Supports the debugging of basic issues in customer software systems.
* Attends internal project meetings.
* Demonstrates fundamental knowledge of debugging techniques for a specific work area (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
* Assists on a software module and recommends appropriate modifications and enhancements in light of customer needs under some guidance.
* Assists in publishing (e.g., writing, reviewing, and editing) product technical documentation.
* Demonstrates Qualcomm products and offerings to customers as instructed by tech leads.
* Work with ODM/OEM partners in Taiwan for Qualcomm IPQ networking processors
* Communicate among internal engineering teams, marketing and sales for customer requirement
* Debug on customer designs and isolate the root cause of reported issues
#### Requirement:
* Familiar with Linux networking stacks and Linux device driver porting
* Ability to read schematics and layout files
* Experiences on Qualcomm IPQ platform is a plus
* Fluent speaking in Mandarin and English. Willing to communicate with customers

#### Roles & Responsibilities
* Drive pre-sales activities to achieve successful design-in results and generate significant business through design wins.
* Drive demand creation and design-in activity at customer site in close cooperation with regional marketing, regional BD, local sales and BL
* Review opportunity and technical demand, propose NXP as total solution, provide onsite & offsite support;
* Prepare technical proposals, formulate and define technical solution guidelines for sales team support
* Owns the block diagram process to ensure broader technical team understands the full system requirements
* Conduct technical training and product demonstration
* Provide strong technical expertise in support of post-sales activities to ensure design wins
* Develop customized application / demos / software porting
* Debug applications on customer’s reported issues
* Monitor and conduct regular follow up on customer’s technical activities
* Assist customer in bring their product to mass production
* Make recommendation for disruptive improvements to NXP product and solution roadmap
* Identify and align future product and solution roadmap with key accounts to drive continue business
* Stayed informed on the latest technology development in the field and collaborate with the product lines for New Product Introduction
* Carry out competitive products and technologies analysis
* Participate in seminars, workshops and meetings to promote NXP products and solutions.
* Build and nurture close customer relationships
#### Candidate Profile
* Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed engineering college/university with 1-2 years of related experience
* Fresh graduate who is keen to learn and with the aspiration to join a dynamic technical environment is welcomed to apply

#### Skills:
* Knowledge of microcontroller and microprocessor architecture. especially the ARM Cortex series architecture.
* Knowledge of System On Chip general-purpose and advanced peripherals (Timers, ADCs, serial communications, USB, Ethernet, etc.)
* Proficient in the C and Assembly programming language required
* Embedded software application development experience required
* Experience working with software stacks and various RTOS for embedded systems
* Knowledge of companion wireless communications technology like BLE, Wi-Fi and its protocol stacks is a plus
* Experience using software debugging tools to view and program processor registers.
* Review datasheets and reference manual, contribute to application notes and developer guides
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Good command of English (written and communication) is mandatory
* Independent, self-motivated professional with a learner attitude
* Some travelling to regional countries is expected
* Experience working with embedded Linux OS is a plus
