### Sugar
Break up with sugar.
Sugar... it's addicting and it's easy to justify it all the time:
"I had a terrible day, I need ice cream!"
"I'm on my period, I need chocolate!"
"I'm celebrating, I need cake!"
Sugar from time to time... it's not bad.
But finding your hand in the cookie jar every day can lead to food guilt and wondering why you have zero control.
Take back control!
1. Desserts aren't bad. But thinking it's a part of dinner is.
2. Tell yourself you're CHOOSING to not eat the cookie.
3. Have healthier options available to you.
4. Don't keep bulk items in the house. If you want cake, make it harder to get... you have to go to the store to get a single serving. This gives more time to think about the choice and if it's something you really want.
5. Decide if you're an abstainer or moderator.
6. It's okay to do a sugar detox as long as you don't use it as an excuse to binge after.
