###### tags: `fww-live` `Email Series` # Em5: Checking In ### Day 5 Subject: The 3 Exercises You Have Master Jules, Holy smokes! How are you feeling after your first few days of FWW Live? I'd love to hear how things are going, so on your next workout: - Leave a comment filling us in on how you feel! Getting started is the hardest part. The second hardest part is to keep going if soreness creeps in. If you're super sore, that's normal. No matter how fit you are, this is new. Your body is being challenged in ways it's not used to so you might find lifting your arms or going up stairs is a bit of a challenge for a few days. How to feel better, faster? 1. Don't give up. People often think soreness means they should rest until it's gone. Do that and you'll be right back where you are at this same time next week. The best way to get your body adjusted is to continue with your workouts, but go a little lighter and maybe a little slower. But don't stop! 2. Sleep. This is your body's optimal time to recover and re-energize. 3. Eat REAL food. Avoid sugar and processed foods. Make sure to eat a healthy source of protein at each meal to promote healing. 4. Hydrate. Water is king, drink up. 5. Stretch and roll! Try to get up and stretch consistently throughout the day. If you have a foam roller, use it! Better yet, knock out a Recovery class!
