# LOC CLI Introduction

## What is LOC CLI?
**LOC CLI** is a command line interface tool which can be used to create data process templates and deploy/list/remove data processes/API routes. It is an alternative to [LOC Studio](https://hackmd.io/R8uxDVYvQAGhJtqoTWXy6A).

The benefits of LOC CLI include:

- **Efficient Workflows**: Simplify your business logic implementation in a quicker and more standardised way.
- **Function-as-a-Service (FaaS)**: Allow users to only focus on business logic by writing simple code to create application functionalities without considering much about the complex infrastructure.
- **Event Sourcing**: Adopt the event-driven pattern to understand when and where your data is consumed by whom.

## Operating System
For optimal user experience, we recommend using LOC CLI in the following supported operating system.

- Microsoft Windows:
- Windows 7 or later, Intel 64-bit processor
- Apple macOS:
- macOS 11 or later, Apple 64-bit processor
- macOS 10.13 or later, Intel 64-bit processor
- Linux:
- Linux 2.6.23 or later, Intel 64-bit processor
