This Wednesday (29) at 11 AM PST we're having #FrugBioTalks, a pre-event of our #FrugBioHackathon, where we'll show inspiring tools from the SynBio community. Among our guest speakers today are **Sebastian Cocioba** with the talk “*Small Tools for Big Questions*”. He is an Independent Researcher at Binomica Labs, a laboratory that he build up from zero to genetic engineer flowers. His presentation will describe some **hardware** and projects that he created in the last years. **Timothy Stiles** will present the talk “*(Poly)merase: The World's Most Modern, Open Source, Synbio Software Library*”. He's a Software Engineer and creator of Poly, a modern and open-source **software** library for engineering organisms, and co-creator of Allbase, a single service that can search and cross-reference sequences and pathways. He will share the uses of his open-source software. Everyone is invited, even if you didn't apply for the hackathon. `Important note: this event will be recorded.` ![](https://i.imgur.com/bC1H6hE.jpg)
