###### tags: `Dinner` `Fish` `Salmon` `Pasta` `Cream` `Date night` # Pasta with salmon in cream sauce **1st time: 22/05/2021** <div> <img src="https://i.imgur.com/tLcxBQm.jpg" width="49%"> <img src="https://i.imgur.com/YMZiwQi.jpg" width="49%"> </div> ## Ingredients for 2 portions * Tagliatelle / Fettuccine (6 nests) * Salmon (~200g) * White wine (150-200ml) * Heavy cream (~200ml) * Butter (1/2 tbsp) [DO NOT USE next time A/B experiment] * Parmigiano (70g) * Garlic (3 cloves) * Red onion (half of a medium sized) * Olive oil * Parsley / Thyme / Sesame seeds * Salt / Pepper * Lime / Lemon juice ## Cooking steps 1. Start heating the water 2. Roast sesame seeds 3. Lay the seeds aside 4. Pre-heat olive oil in a pan 5. De-skin the salmon and season with salt and pepper [both sides] 7. Fry the salmon on both sides [medium rare] 8. Lay the salmon aside 9. Toss chopped onion into the pan 10. Add minced garlic (~1min after the onion) 11. Sweat for 2 min 12. Pour white wine into the pan 13. Reduce by half and add the heavy cream 14. In parallel add pasta and salt to the boiling water 15. Bring the sauce to a simmer and add parmigiano 16. Season the sauce with salt and pepper 17. Add chopped parsley and sesame seeds 18. Chop the salmon and add to the sauce 20. The pasta should be ready 21. Drain, toss with sauce and serve hot
