# Summary Let's go and suck this orbe dry. # Concepts ## Setting ## Game Loop The player tries to defend the mining operation for a fixed amount of time by building towers. The towers will automatically shoot at waves of monsters approaching the drill site. Each monster reaching the drill site decreases the hit points of the drill by 1. If the hit points of the drill reaches zero, the player loses the game. Killed monsters and other actions in the level generate currency. Currency can be used to build additional towers. If the player manages to defend the drill site for the set time, he wins the game. ## Income Two main strategies of income are conceptualized: 1. Killing Monsters will generate some income as loot. 2. Mining resources adds to your income as well. Any Income may be used to build new towers. ## Monsters Monsters are ## Waves ## Towers There are two tower categories: * General defense towers (available to all classes) * Class-specific special towers Tower come in differnt flavors and sizes and are specialized to deal with differnt tasks. In addition to general purpose defense towers. there are special towers unique to the character class in use. for example, The zip tower of the Spy class has only the function to allow fsst zip line travel across the map and has no defensive purpose. # Classes ## Spy The spy operates in beyond the front line for recon activities and creates zipline towers for fast access, even to remote places on the map. ### Quips * "Quiet now." * "Take it or leave it." * "You can't see me." * "They'll never know what him 'em" ## Soldier The soldier is the spear head of the operation and brings a lot of bundeled fire power to bear. He can deploy air strikes, road blocks and fast fireing towers. ## Demolisher The demolisher deploys the havey hitters among the towers, such as the mortar or the mine fields. ## Anchorman The anchorman has a mainly decoy purpose, to distract and confuse the enemy. This can be accomplished by slowing them down with a Litfaßsäule or channel them to differnet location. ## Towers ### General Defense Towers #### Barricade Not upgradable. Cheap but does not fire at all. #### 30mm Safety Turret Medium-speed, medium-range, medium-damage general-purpose turret. #### S2S Missile Slow long range attacks with minor aoe effect #### Some Melee Turret Very short range area of effect attacks ### Spy #### Zip Line (RENAME) #### A.S.S. (Agnozingly Slow Sniper) Turret ### Soldier #### Gatling Gun #### Air Strike Beacon Marks an area for an air strike #### Dart Battery Shoots a battery of syringes at monsters in a straight line.
