# Proposal 37: FOMO Nouns Settlement Funding ### Description FOMO Nouns (Nouns Prop #8) allows user to watch, vote, and mint the next Noun each day at Noun O'Clock. FOMO relies on a contract to fund the auction settlement cost, which has gone as high as 0.11 ETH given recent gas prices. This contract enables the fast settlement needed for FOMO and removes the need for a community member to pay for settlement out of pocket. The contract design only allows funds to be used for auction settlement. In an emergency, the funds can also be withdrawn directly to the Nouns DAO treasury. The developers and users have no direct access to the funds. ### Request This proposal would send 6 ETH directly to the FOMO Nouns settlement contract. This would provide enough funds for ~2 months of auction settlement at current gas prices.
