# Physics Performance Meeting, 25.02.2021, 01:00 AM JST Slides: https://indico.belle2.org/event/3451/ ## Photon energy bias module (Nataliia Kovalchuk) * Module to correct remaining sub-percent differences of cluster energies wrt to MC is ready * Test payload with f(E) corrections ready as local database (see https://agira.desy.de/browse/BII-7629) #### Questions * Chris: What about clusterE? > A: This is not changed, only particle quantities are modified. * Chris: Can we add more theta and energy windows? > A: Yes, whatever we want, this is very flexible. * Comment Torben: What about uncertainties of the photon energy? Please make sure that this is correctly documented. * Angelo: Does TreeFitter et al. use the corrected energy? > A (Frank): I will check. * Comment Angelo: This is a correction relative to MC, ultimately the absolute energy scale must be correct. ## ICHEP readiness * Details on the corrections and systematics for Moriond can be found on the conference readiness page (https://confluence.desy.de/display/BI/Conference+readiness) ## Hadron ID (Angelo Di Canto) * For Moriond, K and pi ID corrections are provided in the same format as for ICHEP * generally data/MC for release-05 is improving for ARICH and CDC, mixed results for TOP ## Tracking (Petar Rados) * Aim to converge on updated K0s recommendations for Moriond by the tracking meeting on Friday. * With the same B+→ɸ[K*+→K0sπ+] sample and selections used for ICHEP, the overall systematic uncertainty for Moriond is expected to be ~half the size. ## Neutrals (Savino Longo) * Timing recommendations established which should improve stability against beam backgrounds (more details https://confluence.desy.de/display/BI/Photon+timing+selection+recommendations)
