# FAIR4RS Project: MineHaulSim
**Name:** Malihe Goli
**Project Name:** MineHaulSim: Assessing Risk in Mining Haulage Operations through Discrete Event Simulation
**Code Repository: [AutonoDES on GitHub]()**
[https://github.com/malihegoli1322/AutonoDES.git]
**Scientific and Software Background**:
I am a PhD student at TUDelft/CiTG-GSE, specializing in control, automation, and digital transformation with applications in various industries. My programming experience includes MATLAB, C, Basic, Delphi, Pascal, and Python. Currently, I am using Python to develop a simulation platform for the mining industry, specifically focusing on haulage operations. This platform is intended for risk analysis of autonomous vehicle utilization as part of a collaborative project with Nevada University. In the future, it will also be used for production assessments and operation cost evaluation. Although this project is still in progress and cannot be shared publicly, I intend to publish it on a private GitHub repository for collaboration and version control purposes.
**Project Description:**
The aim of this project is to develop a discrete event simulation platform for assessing the risk of accidents in mining haulage operations. By utilizing simulation techniques, we aim to analyze traffic flow and identify potential risks to enhance safety, minimize accidents, and optimize operational efficiency in mining haulage operations.

**Project goals**

## Progress Update
:::info
Throughout the FAIR4RS program, we'll work on a git repository. Improvements can be noticed comparing the [original version](https://github.com/<user>/<repo>/tree/<original_version>) with the [updated version](https://github.com/<user>/<repo>/tree/<new_version>).
Please modify the links above to point to your original and final commits accordingly.

:::info
Below you can see some example sections to help explain the progress and/or final state of your repo.
Please modify accordingly.
:::
**Repository Project Management**
- [Project board]()
**Code Structure**
- I have created a folder structure with "Data," "Results," and "Source Code" folders to organize the repository.
**Documentation**
- Created a [README.md]() file
**Testing**
-
**License & Citations**
- Included a [LICENSE file]() to specify the project's license
## Future Plans
:::info
Please include a few follow-up points to your project after the final review
:::
- [ ] Adding inline documentation
- [ ] Updating the Readme file
- [ ] Adding Citation file
- [ ] Modifying the uncompleted parts
By following this plan, I aim to improve the capabilities of the MineHaulSim and contribute to the field of DES.
