--- # Foundation update #1 --- We're updating the Foundation programme in a couple of significant ways. --- ## 1. We are running more of them You will have noticed from the meetups that the number of applicants just keeps growing, so we are making more places available. A second cohort will be kicking off next month. --- ## 2. We are adding more content And delivering it in-person on Saturdays. You will need to check your diaries and put the new dates in once they are finalised. --- ## 3. We are offering ongoing employment support On Monday evenings from January onwards. --- It's not all good news. --- The job market remains challenging. --- Getting onto the Foundation programme is a step in the right direction, but there is no guarantee that an apprenticeship will follow. --- We have apprentice intakes in January and May next year. --- Be prepared for what could be an extended journey. --- That's it.
