Both were CNC machined. ![](https://github.com/fablabedp/fablabedp-wiki/raw/main/projects/images/poste-carregamento/back.jpg) The base is laser-cut from a sheet of 3mm stainless steel with brushed finish, with felt pads underneath. The seam of the folded alupanel housing is closed with white a PVC profile. ![](https://github.com/fablabedp/fablabedp-wiki/raw/main/projects/images/poste-carregamento/top.jpg) The top is closed with laser-cut frosted acrylic, with engraved logos. The acrylic is back-lit with RGB LEDs. ![](https://github.com/fablabedp/fablabedp-wiki/raw/main/projects/images/poste-carregamento/top-interior.jpg) The charging socket is attached to the internal structure via a laser cut and bent 1.5mm sheet-metal stainless steel bracket. ![](https://github.com/fablabedp/fablabedp-wiki/raw/main/projects/images/poste-carregamento/bezel-slicing.jpg) The top bezel is printed in ABS. ![](https://github.com/fablabedp/fablabedp-wiki/raw/main/projects/images/poste-carregamento/solidworks-exploded.jpg) L-brackets secure the internal PVC structure to the stainless steel base.
