# FABLAB CRASH COURSE 19/20 (PreCourse)

## SHORT DESCRIPTION
The "**Crashcourse**" is a practical and intensive training program and a broad reaching introduction to the Fab Lab environment. For groups, they will meet the machines, get introduced on how to operate them and internalize the concepts of rapid prototyping in order to give the students tools to allow them to develop their future prototypes.
During the bootcamp we will be going over the basic skills needed to design, develop and fabricate almost anything in a Fab Lab, as well as how to manage the resources necessary to it’s proper operation.
### Metodology
Our learning methodology is based on the practice of small exercises, designed to encourage the creativity and imagination of the participants, as well as stimulate the search for tools and solutions for their correct definition.
During the first modules, participants will follow precise instructions to familiarize themselves with the mechanics, workflows, safety measures and to understand the possibilities of the different technologies used.
Finally, a **challenge** will be proposed to be solved by groups, encouraging participants to go through all stages of design, rapid prototyping and manufacturing.
