# Open Questions This is a list of questions that are currently open in Endgame. We endeavour to move answers from these questions into the remaining documents. {% hint style="warning" %} This list is a subjective list. Be aware that some questions may be out of date or have already been answered elsewhere. {% endhint %} ## Questions ### ADs and AVCs - Which delegate should an MKR holder pick under a given AVC? Or if not under an AVC, how does an MKR holder pick an AD? - Delegate metrics, some level of randomization, historic voting - ADs cannot be involved in day to day marginal Governance. Then who does? Doesn't seem to be the AVC either. - Advisory Councils + SubDAOs do this - When is an AD allowed to deviate from an AVC strategy? How far can they deviate from it? - ADs can do so as long as the AVC doesn't kick them out - When MKR holders/AVCs vote on proposals e.g. Spark Protocol stuff, are they voting on a Scope Artifact? If not, shouldn't SubDAO governance be done by the SubDAO and not be MKR holders/AVCs? (see 2.5.1.1). AVCs are to ensure that the letter of the rules (Scope Artifacts) match the spirit but they also seem to tell people how to vote on polls? - Right now, there's extra stuff but in the future, SubDAO governance will be a separate thing that takes care of this stuff - 2.5.1.2: "AVCs are restricted from being prescriptive and self-justifying in their approach to Alignment Artifact strengthening". As opposed to... descriptive? - Potentially, the ACs do the prescriptive stuff ### SubDAOs - Do FacilitatorDAOs always have to engage a Facilitator? - Yes! - Is there a FacilitatorDAO for the Atlas? See 2.7.1 "When a FacilitatorDAO has responsibility for an Alignment Artifact [...]" - Nope. The Atlas is supposed to eventually be immutable - Is there "Core Scopes" (GOV, SUP, STA) and "SubDAOs Scopes" (PRO and ACC)? "If a FacilitatorDAO has responsibility for the Support Scope or the Stability Scope, they are considered Core Facilitators and cannot be assigned responsibility to SubDAO scopes" - Don't know, probably not... ### EGF - Which parts of the template are editable? - DAO Toolkit ### Misc - 2.1.1 - what exactly is being done here? ## Overall Structure - Alignment Conservers are: - Delegates - AVC Members - Facilitators - Budget Allocators - Scope Advisory Councils produces: - Aligned Scope Proposal, which in turn help inform: - Aligned Governance Strategy (previously known as Position Documents)
