Evan Samlin is quite an inspiring entrepreneur whose story is full of decisions, creative solutions, and focus on the benefit of others. Being born and raised in Randolph, New Jersey, Evan had strong adaptive skills, which were allowed him to look at the difficulties in a rather flexible manner.
Education and Early Life
In his childhood, Evan already had some manipulative skills that would be useful to him when he was trying to manage his own business. In high school football, he developed physical skills, sportsmanship, discipline, and the ability to work with others as a team. During his junior and senior years, he played as a member of the First Team NJFCA All-State team. Subsequent to his high school education, Evan joined The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and graduated with a first degree in business and philosophy. But he was on the dean’s list, and despite this, he thought of not going to law school and opted for writing comedies instead. In addition to performing as an accountant and stand-up comedian in New York City, he started the food and beverage business.
Moving to Comedy and Brief Incursion in Business
On completion of his studies, Evan did a very brave thing by turning away from a conventional job. Rather than follow a corporate career path, he opted to go after spending his life as a comedy writer. Over two ground-breaking years, he worked and learned the ropes of the fight and beverage business, improving his comic sense of humour. Performing stand-up, he got on the bright stages of New York, examining the talent to address the crowds.
Establishment of REIL Capital
After two years of stand up, improv and writing a sitcom pilot, Evan’s cousin Ian Samlin approached him about starting a business. They founded REIL Capital on 16th March, 2017, a company which was built fundamentally on innovation and taking risks. Their goal was to advance in business through the acquisition of new opportune factors.
