## Community notes ### Book upgrades - Explain concepts and FAQ instead of crate specifics - I.e reducing size of Futures, stack overflows etc - How to patch crates from main branch for esp-hal etc (all crates should be patched) - Vendored builds in esp-idf crates - Examples should be more like mini projects, not tests (all in agreement here) ## STD changes going forward - Status marker for community support - Try and push the build-std stabilization forward - and or promote esp-idf targets to tier 2 - Announce in future blog post too ## Visibility - Open LLVM issues on github instead of internally, for more visibility within the community ## Users and the path forward - We need more visibility on how users are using both esp-hal and esp-idf-hal - A yearly survey from us (along with the embedded hal survey) - Adding a PR checkbox: Is this contribution on behalf of a company?
