# Content Creation and Their Manupilative Tactives The [Danah Boyd Article](https://medium.com/datasociety-points/agnotology-and-epistemological-fragmentation-56aa3c509c6b) indicates how technology has over the years changed the world for the worse, questioning the "authenticity.” of information that’s displayed to be “credible.” on the net. However, while the internet was initially a ray of hope for people to have easier access to information around forty years ago, it is currently deemed to have sources that aren’t always reliable for the public to follow, along with certain tactics to manipulate data/supposed facts, and agnotology, which means ignorance, as stated also in the article, is “a tool of oppression by the powerful.” An example of this would be the news channels focusing on content creation by twisting the facts and universities expressing their personal opinions on things, such as political views, to students rather than staying neutral. It is easiest to manipulate contentious topics such as politics, mental health, and abortion laws. In conclusion, the media usually uploads content which at times are manipulated, so its better to go the old-fashioned way to get the most credible sources such as libraries. ## Picture Number 1 ![alt text](https://www.varsity.co.uk/images/dyn/store/700/0/42719.png) ## Picture Number 2 ![alt text](https://assets3.cbsnewsstatic.com/hub/i/r/2016/11/29/ec8080d5-6515-402d-ad38-0f4f66f5c177/thumbnail/620x383/38e2209f3b1175c709a6eb8bb0dc38ce/screen-shot-2016-11-29-at-5-12-16-pm.png?v=2194e1912ab0b51d957839e2d5977664) ## Video Number 1 ![alt text](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6A5EpqqDOdk) !{Hosted Bracket} https://i.imgur.com/lthOrTo.png ![image alt](https://i.imgur.com/lthOrTo.png)
