Mirantis is committed to providing an excellent experience to all Docker Enterprise platform customers and currently expects to support Swarm for at least two years, depending on customer input into the roadmap. Mirantis is also evaluating options for making the transition to Kubernetes easier for Swarm users. 一般普遍的解讀都是Swram要被賜死了，活不過2年，他們希望客戶都搬到K8S去。像是iThome[這篇](https://www.ithome.com.tw/news/134199)新聞 >而Mirantis也表示，未來調度工具趨勢為Kubernetes，他們承諾會為Swarm提供至少兩年的支援，不過他們正在評估Swarm的退場機制，以及搬遷到Kubernetes的解決方案。 根據我的明查暗訪，發現其實Mirntis在2020年2月的[這篇](https://www.mirantis.com/blog/mirantis-will-continue-to-support-and-develop-docker-swarm/)Blog，明確的提到會繼續支援及發展Docker Swarm。 原因如下, >Following our acquisition of Docker Enterprise in November 2019, we affirmed at least two years of continued Swarm support, pending discussions with customers. These conversations have led us to the conclusion that our customers want continued support of Swarm without an implied end date. 顯然，許多Docker企業客戶都要求Mirantis提供支援和開發Docker Swarm，而Mirantis已決定繼續提供商業支援並開發新功能。 對小型的應用程式來說，並太不需要像K8S那麼複雜的架構，Docker Swarm其實蠻好用的，而且又支援Windows平台。是個不可多得的人才，只可惜生不逢時。 ###### tags: `Docker` `Docker Swarm`
