# Meeting Notes - 03.12.2021

## CIF-ontology

Casper presented the recent development in the [CIF-ontology repository](https://github.com/emmo-repo/CIF-ontology).
Discussions around what to do next were brought up. The plan so far is to try and publish the ontologies via GitHub pages and the `gh-pages` branch. Later on, Casper suggested to use the [onto-ns.com](http://onto-ns.com) name space, as this is one he and SINTEF have complete control over, as well as a connected web-server.

## Recap

Longer discussion about "Crystallography" and "CIF" under "Language".
We need to do some actual work now to set up a proper infrastructure for further development.

## Support

Saulius requsted some assistance in installing and running the `dic2owl` tool, and we managed to assist and setup a system on his Linux system through `virtualenv`.

In the end we ended the meeting "early", i.e., after an hour, in order to dedicate the remaining time on the missing "homework" from the last meeting as well as continue necessary maintenance work on the CIF-ontology repository.
