# Nilearn 2021 sprint meeting ## Current website code : https://github.com/nilearn/dev-days-2021/ [Current schedule suggestions here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xMB8dSfC4YiOX33WB2BhSfxNiQnSZjG8rtrGth3sREY/edit#gid=0) ## Notes from May 3rd meeting ## Notes from April ### To do - agree on schedule - vision of the sprint - open good first issues (GFIs) - continue standardizing docstring format - examples (e.g., duplicate two-sample tests) - add references to docstrings - look into method for skipping (1) docs build and (2) tests depending on contents of commit message so that GFIs don't clog CI - have docs CI build require tests to pass. Problem is that docs are Circle, while other tests are either GitHub Actions or Azure - advertise: https://github.com/nilearn/dev-days-2020/issues/9 ### Topic ideas - Barriers to adopting nilearn? - BIDS compliance (invite Chris Markiewicz, Tal Yarkoni, Oscar Esteban, Alejandro de la Vega, Camille Maumet?) - Website design - html reports: demo and ask for feedback - surface models, e.g. SurfaceMasker ; open discussion ; integration into GLM, Decoder etc. (Mathias Goncalves, Erin Dickie, ) - beyond human data: monkey, rats etc. (Horea Christian, SungHo Lee, Daniel Gomez) - More general idea of setting up a space for packages with nilearn as a dependency to talk about best practices ### Nilearn twitter ? Examples from MNE: - MNE every push : https://twitter.com/mne_python?lang=fr - MNE high-level : https://twitter.com/mne_news?lang=fr Nilearn could aim to establish a similar high-level account :sparkles: Nicolas to take on twitter !
