--- tags: CFP, workshop --- # Ferris rover 2020 ## Workshop The year is 2020 and in the mids of the #COVID19 pandemic arround the world and the global economic crisis you've been task with building the Ferris rover 2020. The rover will be deployed with a pre-determined GPS coordinates for a path that it needs to follow. - The actual starting coordinates on which the rover will be determand on the day of the depoyment. - The rovar will be handling all kinds of situation on planet Earth, but is neccessary since none of the inhabitants can leave their home. In general there are X things to conisder and be broken down into small chuncks: - GPS system Drive path. Demo path consisting of GPS coordinates will be provided which the rover will be following to develop the neccessary API to handle all sorts of paths. - Movement Sending 100% foward command for 2 seconds is not useful if we want our rover to be exact and go exactly by the coordinates we've provided. Develop API which will be able to determine how long and how fast (%) should the drone execute a moving command. Maybe it can track the GPS coordinates and acuratelly adjust the parameters?
