## Sign Up for Elemento
To get started, click the "Sign Up" button at the top right of our [website](https://elemento.cloud) and follow the instructions to create an account. Remember to choose a strong password, comprising at least eight characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

## Forgot Your Password?
No worries! If you have forgotten your password, you can easily reset it through the [password recovery link](https://portal.elemento.cloud/password_recovery). Follow the provided instructions, and you'll regain access to your account.

## Installing AtomOS

### From an existing rhel compliant installation

`sudo bash -c "curl https://repo.elemento.cloud/get-atomos.sh | bash"`

### From Elemento live .iso
If you haven't installed AtomOS on your device yet, you can do so easily by downloading its live ISO version from [this link](https://repo.elemento.cloud/iso/AtomOS.iso). If you prefer a version without a graphical interface, you can opt for [this alternative ISO](https://repo.elemento.cloud/iso/AtomOS-headless.iso). Once you have the file, follow the instructions to burn it to a USB drive or DVD, then boot your computer from this media. If you have any doubts about how to do this, don't hesitate to ask for help from a more experienced friend or family member.

## Downloading the Software
To access Elemento's services, you will need to download our "daemons" and applications. Here are the download links:

## Licensing AtomOS
AtomOS comes in a single .iso file which can act as a free version or become a licensed pro version, depending on the presence of a valid payware license.
The licenses will be associated to your Elemento account: since the association will be done using the email address as key, in the purchase process **always remember to use an email address associated with a valid Elemento Account**.

Once the pourchase is processed, you'll receive your new license directly in your ElectrOS app.
head to the Licenses page to view your copies of AtomOS.


Licenses with a grey "Activated" button are already used.
Licenses with a gree "Activate" button can be enabled by clicking it.
After the click an additional section will appear, showing the license criptographic key. Do not close the section or the App since this information will only be shown once.


As suggested by the prompt, copy the whole content of the grey box in the file `/etc/elemento/atomos.license` on the booted copy of AtomOS running on the machine you are activating the license for.

## Security Certificates
To ensure secure HTTPS connections to AtomOS services, we recommend downloading the Elemento certificate authority from [this repository](https://github.com/Elemento-Modular-Cloud/elemento-ca). Follow the provided instructions for installation.
