# MedRespond - Game Redesigns Proposal

## Project Goal
Completely redesign both Plating Game and Menu Game, while also converting basic functionality from vanilla javascript to a React app.

#### Current Key Issues (Plating Game = PG; Menu Game = MG):
- Tooltip too slow (PG)
- Placement of food is bad (PG)
- Popups and buttons are clumsy (PG)
- Food choices are hard to see (PG)
- Can’t remove item (PG)
- Rules are not changeable for different instances of game (PG)
- Text and icons are misaligned (MG)
- Neither game is responsive to conventional screen sizes

## Scope of Work

### User Stories

#### Plating Game:
- As a user, I should be able to toggle between "Breakfast" and "Lunch/Dinner" scenarios
- As a user, I should be able to reset the game and play again
- As a user, I should be able to drag food and drink icons into appropriate slots in the main canvas
- As a game, I should be able to be reconfigured for multiple different rule sets and icons
- As a game, I should be able to tell users whether icons have been put in the correct slot, as well as why it is or isn't correct

#### Menu Game:
- As a user, I should be able to pick between different menus using a dropdown
- As a user, I should be able to select menu items that I believe fit within the plating method
- As a game, I should be able to tell users whether or not their selection was correct

## Signoff Criteria
- Sign Off Process:
- Plating and Menu Game will be deployed on a temporary domain
- The Signoff will be done on the temporary domain
- The final deliverables will be 2 Figma designs, and 2 separate game code repositories

- Sign Off Criteria:
- The Game Redesigns project will be considered complete when the following criteria are accomplished
- [ ] All User Stories referred to in the above section can be completed by the intended users
- [ ] UI Designs are built per the specs in the delivered Figma designs
