# Draft Mosip installation update
Hi Mark,
Some further details on the progress we have made:
- As per previous update – we were informed that the MOSIP installation we were working on up until mid-July was no longer supported, and advised to wait for new documentation to be released before proceeding with a V3 installation.
- On the 16th we resolved the problem with IT, working with them to arrange an extensive set of AWS permissions for the installation.
- So far, we believe we have successfully deployed and configured:
- Wireguard Bastion VPN server
- Two Kubernetes clusters
- Rancher cluster management interface
- Nginx ingress controller
- Two network load balancers
- A domain routing traffic to the load balancers
- We are currently receiving support from the MOSIP team regarding a bug in the deployment scripts for the external dependencies of the MOSIP modules which will thereafter be deployed to the MOSIP Kubernetes cluster.
- The deployment of the MOSIP modules is the final step in the deployment of the core MOSIP platform and looks to be a simpler process than the steps we have completed so far.
- Some sections of the installation documentation are more complete than others and we'll aim to contribute any enhancements and fixes for mistakes encountered in a pull request into the MOSIP Documentation repository upon completion.
Kind Regards,
Ed
