# Notes from Espresso Workshop ## Present - ## Notes - Jon: It's easier to run things in a docker container in a cloud and someone can do it for me. But that's not how people are approaching distributed data. With centralized systems it's easy (Google logs into your phone automatically) Bullet Points: User Experience: - Ease of use with onboarding for technically challenged people. - How do you enforce/communicate trust and handle varying and variable levels of trust over time and relieve pressure on users to manage their data. Interoperability - Getting data out of non-solid systems and translating it to usable RDF. - Inter-app data interoperability Compute Requirements - Low accessibility/Lack of resources (not everyone has compute resources to store their data) Keeping Cached Data in sync - How do you delete data and trust that people will delete data or update an obsolete copy? Providence/Data Integrity - Data Providence: How do we confirm that data is true? - How do you build a system that let's people define thier own definition of trust? - How do you enforce data integrity?
