## TL;DR
- 3 new teams are being evaluated for the SBP; Tanssi became part of the SBP and WebbTools graduated the program.
- 14 new projects flowing to SquareOne (10 Growth + 4 W3F). Mostly Off-chain Infrastructure.
- Builders Feedback mutated into the Ecosystem Feedback, now having input from Pioneers as well.
- OZ Submitted proposal for discussion; Metadata on-chain proposal (multichain Ledger App project) approved and being developed.
## Detailed Project Updates
### SquareOne
#### TL;DR
- The Growth team guided 10 new projects, W3F added 4 grant projects.
- Top steering options for July: Institutional Relations, Parachain connections, W3F Grants.
- Pipeline breakdown: Off-Chain Infrastructure dominates, Parachain/Smart Contracts & Pallets follow
#### Square One Pipeline
During the month of **July** the Growth team has committed and handed over **10** new projects committed to building in our ecosytem to Square One where we are actively in contact and guiding them through the various Initiatives recommended to them.
The W3F also handed over **4** new project who have successfully applied & completed a Grant and would like to further their development within our ecosystem.

**11** projects (New Entry) that were recently handed over have to schedule a meeting with us or have done so this week.
#### Team Status
To highlight some of the new deals that the Growth Team have handed over recently, we will give a quick overview of the projects steering options and current status. Thanks again to Robin, Nico, Aarya & Coleman for their hard work in committing these deals.
|Teams | Recommendation | Status |
|:---:|:---:|:----:
|Capital and Asset Preservation (CAP) Gold|Institutional Relations|VC Introductions
|[GoMeat](http://gomeat.io)|Parachain Connection|Intro'ed to Moonbeam & Astar
|[Cyborg Network](https://cyborgnetwork.io/)|W3F Grants|Drafting Grant
#### Steering Option Metrics:
Out of the **3** Teams (Enaging) they have been directed to Web3 Grants Foundation, Institutional Relations and have been connected to a Parachain to build their project on their chain.

The pie chart below represents the allocation of projects within the Square One pipeline, categorized as Parachain, Off-Chain Infrastructure, and Smart Contracts & Pallets. In this distribution, the largest portion of the pie is dedicated to Off-Chain Infrastructure projects.
The next significant category is Parachain & Smart Contracts, while this month Pallet foccused projects remained the lowest.

### Substrate Builders Program
#### TL;DR
- 3 new teams are being evaluated for the SBP.
- Accepted 1 new project to the program.
- 1 project graduated from the SBP in July.
#### SBP Pipeline
We currently have a total of **81 projects** in the SBP Pipeline and currently **27 teams** are working on their **Milestone** deliverables for the program, and **15 projects** are now in the Launch support stage.

#### Teams Accepted into the SBP
There were 5 check-in calls in the month of July, 3 new teams are being evaluated and we have accepted one new team into the SBP:
|Teams | Description |
|:---:|---|
|[Tanssi Network](https://www.tanssi.network/)|Parachains connected to the Tanssi Network transform into ContainerChains, gaining access to a range of tools and resources so builders can turn their ideas into a working concept in less than an hour.|
#### Teams Graduated from SBP
One team has passed their 3rd Milestones and completed the program in July:
|Teams | Description |
|:---:|---|
|[Webb Tools](https://webb.tools/)|Webb builds infrastructure for connecting zero-knowledge applications empowering developers to unlock user privacy in the Web3 ecosystem.|

#### SBP initiatives updates
##### Milestone Reviews
5 Milestone reviews happened in July:
- Apillon M2
- Webb Tools M3
- Wunderbar Network M3
- Kogarashi Network M1
- Functionland M1
**Big thanks to the Delivery Services Team** spending tremendous time and energy to go through the codebase of these projects and sharing their feedback!
##### Security reviews
In July we have **reviewed 4 projects** and found a total of **10 security issues** in 5 different categories.
##### Office hours
We have hosted our weekly Office hours every Monday in SBP’s cool little metaverse office. (Check it out [here](https://zep.us/play/yxjJPz), Password: “SubstrateIsLove”)
The main topics for this month’s sessions were:
- Freeverse team shared their plans with the LAOS Parachain (Living Assets OS) which aims to provide a highly scalable platform for the creation, ownership, and evolution of unique digital assets (NFTs).
- The launch of a Substrate Monthly Roundup social media post on X (similar to Polkadot Roundup) starting with July.
- We had short updates from projects like Acurast, Webb Tools, Fennel, Omni Enterprise, Snowfork, Ajuna and others.
### Special Projects
#### <del>Technical feedback</del> Ecosystem Feedback
The former Builder Study has now transform into Ecosystem Feedback, with the objective to not only cover technical feedback but rather all possible feedback coming from the ecosystem. To achieve this, several new categorizations have been added to the study, and also the Pioneers team has agreed to start adding the feedback they collect in there.
Particulary, we'd like to highlight two pieces of new categorization:
- Type. This indicates if the feedback is technical or business related.
- Potentially solved by the community. Ideally, if we identified some feedback that could potentially be solved by the community we would tag it and push the community to solve it.
In July we have reached the **160 total feedback count** in more than **60 different unique user stories**.

#### Metadata for Offline Signers
As a result of the [discussion back at the Parachain Summit](https://forum.polkadot.network/t/polkadot-summit-adapting-metadata-for-hardware-wallets/3419) we worked with two ecosystem teams, namely Kampela and Zondax, to kick-off a project to develop a stripped down version of the metadata compatible with offline devices and their hardware restrictions. This was presented to the community as [Referendum 62](https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/referendum/62), recently approved.
As a result, we have oficially kicked off the project, which can be followed here: https://github.com/orgs/Alzymologist/projects/1.
#### OpenZeppelin Runtime Library
OZ has officially made public their proposal for early discussion. So far no significant feedback from the community, so we will be pursuing the publication of the actual proposal this week.
You can read the proposal here: https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/post/1857
## Future Updates
- Change the process to act on the feedback to incorporate the fact that we will now be receiving business related feedback.
- Get the OZ proposal to pass.
- Work with Kurtosis to propose a one-click deployment solution for parachains.
- Continue with the Metadata project.
## Team Changes
- No changes on the team to report.
