# 20200603 coreos-status email about Fedora 32
Subject: Fedora CoreOS rebasing to Fedora 32: known issues; upcoming test day
Body:
## Intro: testing has been rebased to Fedora 32
We're hard at work preparing for the rebase of the `stable` stream to
Fedora 32. One of the largest milestones in making this happen
occurred today when we released the first `testing` stream release
based on Fedora 32 content. The version of this latest `testing`
release is `32.20200601.2.1`, where you can note the first two
digits changed from `31` to `32`.
## Please update to the latest `coreos-installer`
Now that we are signing content with the Fedora 32
release engineering signing keys, we updated our
`coreos-installer` tool to be able to verify signatures
using those keys. We did this a bit late this round
which means existing versions of `coreos-installer`
prior to v0.2.1 won't be able to verify signatures of
new artifacts.
If you are using the install (jl: live?) media that corresponds
with the release you are installing, then you should
be fine. If you use mismatched install media (i.e., using
a older install media to install newer FCOS), or you're
using the `coreos-installer` binary directly via
`cargo build` or `dnf install` then you'll need to make
sure you have at least v0.2.1.
## Known issues with the Fedora 32 rebase
Currently there are a few known issues with the content
that we just promoted to `testing` in `32.20200601.2.1`.
- Ignition fails to set selinux labels on absolute symlinks:
https://github.com/coreos/fedora-coreos-tracker/issues/512
- Kernel warnings in our CI tests when executing on AWS:

## Come join us for a Test Day to test the F32 rebase
The Fedora QA team has partnered with us to help find issues
with our Fedora 32 rebase. We're all getting together in
#fedora-coreos freenode on Monday 06/08 to try to stress the
new content set and also the actual upgrade to see if we can
find issues that need to be fixed or documented. For more
information please see the Fedora QA announcement:

## The End
Thanks all for helping us to make Fedora CoreOS awesome!
