# Dsub21 exam ## General notes: * The exam takes the form of a set take-home assignment. * The assignment can be written individually or in groups of up to 4 students. * The student is given a question at the beginning of the exam in the Digital Exam system. ### Example questions: 1. *How does subjectification is performed through activities related to the "quantified self"?* 2. *What is a "digital citizen" and how does it relate to the concept of surveillance economy?* 3. *How does "othering" as a practice works in a digital landscape?* ### The answer to the question should include: * Case examples (different to the ones seen on class) * Which and how theoretical concepts are related to the question? (if not explicitly included already) * Related empirical studies (unless the concept is strictly or mainly theoretical) * Relational reflection (how are you, for example, enacted as a digital citizen?) ## Further information from student regulation: Set home assignment Form of co-examination: External co-examination Assessment form: 7-point grading scale ### Ordinary examination: Lecture participation is a prerequisite for taking the exam; cf. section 2.1 of the academic regulations. The exam takes the form of a set take-home assignment. The assignment can be written individually or in groups of up to 4 students. **Group assignments must be written in such a way that the contribution of each student, except for the introduction, thesis statement and conclusion, can form the basis of individual assessment. The assignment should clearly state which sections the individual students are responsible for.** :::danger **Following this information, each of you has to mark your participation in each section. However, I'll accept sections marked with percentages, or other forms of clarification, e.g.** *Section X (StudentA: 30%, StudentB: 70%)* ::: **Length for one student: 10-12 standard pages Length for two students: 15-20 standard pages Length for three students: 20-25 standard pages Length for four students: 25-30 standard pages** Duration: 7 days. The student is given a question at the beginning of the exam in the Digital Exam system. The set take-home assignment must be handed in for assessment in the Digital Exam system by the date specified in the exam plan.
