## Starlink Internet Plan, Price And Review 2023
The incredible engineering and growth success of SpaceX’s Starlink program cannot be understated. Just last week, the company revealed that it has been growing at a record pace and now has over 1.5 million subscribers, driven by growth in new sectors like aviation and maritime. ## How much does Starlink Price?
Starlink's monthly prices for satellite service range from $90 to $5,000, depending on the type of plan you want (fixed or mobile) and how much priority data or mobile priority data you want with it. Obviously, this is a very large range, so we'll break it down for you according to plan.
## Starlink Priority 1TB
Starlink Priority 1TB, like Starlink Internet Plan, is designed for a fixed location, but unlike Starlink Standard, it comes with priority data, which means faster speeds. It costs either $250 per month for 1TB of priority data, $500 per month for 2TB, and $1,500 per month for 6TB.
For the record, most families don't use more than 1TB, so if you have a small business, definitely choose the $250 plan to get started. If you need more, you can always upgrade without any hassle.
You can choose what equipment you get with Starlink Priority, but Starlink Internet Plan the $2,500 High-Performance satellite to go along with your Priority data.

## Starlink RV (Starlink Room)
Starlink Roam, formerly called Starlink RV, is the first of Starlink's mobile internet plan options. The cost is either $150 per month for regional access or $200 per month for global access. And don't forget the initial equipment costs of $599 for the satellite you have to set up every time you stop or $2,500 for mobile technology.

## Starlink Navigation
Starlink Mobility is Starlink Internet Plan, and it shares a lot of similarities with Starlink Roam, except that it's much more expensive and uses the highest priority data available for Starlink services. In fact, it costs $250 per month for 50GB of data, $1,000 per month for 1TB of data, and $5,000 per month for 5TB of data.
Starlink Mobility also uses Flat High Performance Starlink exclusively, which means you have to pay a $2,500 equipment fee upfront.
## Starlink Marine
Starlink Maritime costs the same amount for the same data tiers as Starlink Mobility, so review the costs above when deciding if this is the plan you need. Like the Starlink Roam Global Plan and Starlink Mobility, Starlink Maritime uses Starlink Internet Plan, which costs $2,500 upfront. Learn more about Starlink Maritime in our online boat review.
## Starlink Fees
Starlink Internet $599.00 + shipping Free (self-installation)
Starlink Priority 2TB $2,500.00 + shipping Free (self-installation)
### Starlink Contracts
Starlink does not have any internet contracts with its service. You can cancel your service at any time without paying a cancellation fee. Your service will continue until the end of the payment period and then stop. You can also get a refund of your equipment fees if you cancel the service within 30 days and return the equipment in good condition and in the original packaging.
## Starlink Data
Starlink offers multiple types of data to accommodate different service plans, standard name data, priority data, mobile data, and mobile priority data. Keeping track of these data types, which Starlink plans they belong to, and the prices you'll pay for both can get a little complicated, so we've broken it down for you below.
## Starlink Internet Installation
Installing Starlink is free because it is a self-installation. Once you pay the equipment fee of between $599 and $2,500, a Starlink kit will be shipped to you, which includes the following:
* Starlink (your dish is either circular or rectangular)
* Wi-Fi router/power supply
* Cables
* a base
To install your own Starlink, you can follow the Starlink installation guide and download the Starlink app for iOS or Android. The app will help you find a clear view of the sky, which is essential to keeping your Starlink running at its best. You can also purchase additional installation equipment from the Starlink Store once you place your order.
## Starlink equipment vs. competition
### Winner: Viasat and HughesNet
Another stark difference is in equipment costs. Starlink requires you to pay between $599 and $2,500 upfront for the Starlink kit (plus shipping). The price difference depends on whether you choose Starlink Business or not. Viasat and HughesNet offer affordable rental options.
Monthly plan costs can also be lower with Viasat and HughesNet, depending on which plan you choose. However, both require two-year contracts while Starlink requires no contracts and does not charge any installation fees. Starlink will refund your money if you return the equipment in good condition and cancel it within 30 days.
## Starlink high performance apartment
Starlink's High Performance Flat Satellite dish is thinner, has a permanent mount on your vehicle of choice, and provides truly portable internet, unlike the typical Starlink satellite dish that comes with the Starlink Residential, Starlink Business, and Starlink Roam Regional plan. It comes with a global Starlink Roam plan, Starlink Mobility, and Starlink Maritime. The higher-performance flat Starlink service is much more expensive, so you'll notice that all the plans that come with it are on the higher end of Starlink as well.
## Starlink speed vs. competition
### Winner: Starlink and Viasat
Although on paper it may seem like Starlink beats Viasat when it comes to speed, Viasat isn't far behind at 100Mbps. But with the recent addition of Starlink Business, Starlink surpasses Viasat by offering speeds of up to 220 Mbps. However, Viasat currently has a reputation for providing more reliable services and dependable speeds.
