# Brother Printer Not Connecting to Wireless Network – Easy Fix


There are situations where your Brother printer won’t connect to WiFi. It may be because of a weak network, wrong WiFi settings, or outdated software or printer firmware. Here are some simple fixes to resolve the issue:

**Connect Printer Using Wireless Setup Wizard**

* Plug the printer’s power cord into a wall outlet.
* Press Menu on the printer’s control panel,
* Use the arrow buttons to select Network, then press OK.
* Select Setup Wizard, then press OK.
* When prompted “WLAN Enable?”, select Yes to turn on wireless.
* A list of available networks will show up.
* Select your WiFi network (SSID) and press OK.
* Enter the network password (WiFi key) if required, then press OK.
* Select Yes to confirm the settings.
* Wait for the message “Connected” on the screen.

**Reset Network Settings on Brother Printer**

* Press the Settings button, and then select All Settings.
* Select Network, and then click Network Reset.
* Click "Yes" when your printer displays “Reset Network?”
* Press Yes for two seconds when it displays “Reboot OK?” and the printer will restart.

**Use WPS Push Button**

* First, make sure that your WiFi router or access point has a WPS symbol or button.
* Press the WPS button on the router.
* Within 2 minutes, press and hold the WiFi (Wireless) button on your printer for about 5 seconds.
* The WiFi indicator on your printer will blink green.
* Once connected, the WiFi indicators will flash solid green.
