# Silverto Spring Party


## 🇵🇹 Em Português
**Festa de Primavera em Silverto** — sábado, 30 de maio, a partir das 14h00, em [Quinta do Silverto](https://silverto.pt) (Rubiães, Paredes de Coura).

Uma festa comunitária com música, arte, um pequeno mercado local e muita partilha. **Donativo sugerido: 10 €** (ajuda a cobrir combustível dos artistas, cabos, decoração, etc.).

Traz o teu **equipamento de campismo**, bebidas e snacks. Vendemos algumas bebidas a 1 €. No domingo de manhã, pequeno-almoço grátis para quem ajudar na limpeza.

As **regras da festa** (importantes — estamos numa floresta viva!) encontram-se logo abaixo, em ambas as línguas.

És artesão/ã, produtor/a local, ou tens algo para partilhar? **Monta a tua banca no nosso mercado!** Iniciativa é explicitamente bem-vinda.

## Start of Festa
Saturday the 30th of May, 14:00 onwards.

Friday the 29th, starting 14'ish.
Saturday the 30th, starting 10'ish.

Sunday the 31st, after breakfast.

We have a wonderful community, around us, here in Minho.
We want to connect and show it to itself!
Music, art, local market, chill and connect.

### Party Rules

We're in an actual forest ecosystem. As for that, we're transforming it to productive agroforestry. We are all just stewards and guests here, not the other way around!

That means:

1. Camp only in designated areas Ask people on the buildup crew which those are.
2. Stay on cleared paths You might not recognise our baby trees. Please, don't kill 'em!
3. Do not litter That includes, specifically, cigarette buds. Only smoke in the party area!
4. Help others take care If you see someone not respecting the forest, kindly remind them.
5. No (non-biodegradable) soap in the outdoor shower or taps.
6. Bring water etc. Tap water in the forest is non-drinkable.

### Regras da Festa 🇵🇹

Estamos num verdadeiro ecossistema florestal, que estamos a transformar em agrofloresta produtiva. Somos todos guardiões e convidados aqui — não o contrário!

Ou seja:

1. **Acampa apenas nas zonas designadas** — pergunta à equipa de montagem quais são.
2. **Mantém-te nos caminhos abertos** — podes não reconhecer as nossas árvores jovens. Por favor, não as pises!
3. **Não deites lixo no chão** — incluindo, especificamente, beatas de cigarro. Fuma apenas na zona da festa!
4. **Ajuda os outros a cuidar** — se vires alguém a não respeitar a floresta, lembra-lhe com gentileza.
5. **Sem sabão não-biodegradável** — no chuveiro exterior nem nas torneiras.
6. **Traz água** etc. — a água da torneira na floresta não é potável.

If weather permits, the party itself will be outside in the open space in the forest.

### Bring your own vibe
We're hosting a little market area, and local artisans, producers and anyone who makes or offers something are warmly invited to set up a stand and sell or share whatever it is you make. Food and fun drinks are very welcome too.

Initiative is explicitly invited. **Silverto provides the canvas and some basics — you bring the vibe!** :)

## Help Wanted / Roles
There's a lot to do and we'd love your help! Below are some specific roles. If you can fill one (or a shift), let us know on the channel or reach out to Berilay or Mathijs.

### Before the party (especially Friday the 29th)
* **Space preparation crew** — heavy, muscular work: clearing the forest party space, making room in the basement for the Boiler Room and the party itself, moving gear. Most of this happens the day before.
* **Decoration** — putting up lights, twinkling strings, shade tarp, and other decorative elements.
* **Technical setup** — wiring up sound equipment, DJ booth, LED PARs, etc.
* **Shopping runs** — picking up supplies the day before.

### During the party
* **Host / welcome desk** — a few shifts sitting at the entrance: welcoming people, handling donations, pointing folks in the right direction.
* **Vibe check / floor manager (1–2 people)** — floating around to make sure everything is generally okay, handling any mess, problem or confusion as it comes up.

### After the party
* **Shopping runs** — picking up anything we still need the day after.
* **Strike crew** — taking down the sound system, decorations, lights, tarps.
* **Collective cleanup** — putting the forest back to how we found it (Sunday afternoon; free breakfast for helpers!).
