# Tips for editing on mobile phone

HackMD can be used on computers, tablets, and smartphones, making it very convenient to browse pages.

These tips can help you select text, copy, and paste more easily when using it on your smartphone.

## Android

If you use an Android phone, it is recommended to install assistive apps.

For example, **[Gboard](https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/cut-copy-paste-iphone-devices-iph220ea8dca/ios)** allows you to control the cursor and cut, copy, and paste!

## iOS

If you are using iOS 13 or above, we recommend using the built-in gestures.
Triple-tap on text to select a paragraph; double-tap with three fingers to bring up the "Cut, Copy, Paste" menu.
