How to post an announcement

You can post an announcement on your profile to update your status, promote an event, or share your latest work.

Post an announcement

1. Visit your or a team's profile page and click on the pencil icon.
   

2. Write anything you would like to share with the visitors.
   

3. Optionally, you can add a link to a note in the workspace.

   Notes with a lock icon next to them are restricted and may not be accessible to the visitors.

   You may want to change its permission so that all visitors can read it. Once you have done so, click "Refresh access".

4. Click "Announce" to post the announcement. While an announcement that links to a note gets a button, you may want to use this block just to update the status without a call to action.
   

   
   

Tip: Once posted, click the menu to edit or remove an announcement.
