# Paragraph Citations

By Paragraph Citations, you can combine note-taking inspiration with shared paragraphs to create a cohesive and effective writing style. Not only can you quickly bring in shared paragraphs and information, but you can also link back to the original notes.

If others cite your notes, readers can quickly trace them back to the source, and you can see which authors were inspired by your content.

# How to use Paragraph Citations

When posting a link, you can select the style via keyboard or mouse, please select “Citation”.

## About citations


1. **Cited content:**
Displays the contents of the cited paragraph.
2. **Footnotes:**
- Displays the citation icon, source note title, time, and link.
- Tap "the icon in the footer" to open the source note.
- Tap "the arrow at the end" to roll back to the content in the current note.

# Cited Notes

### Citation Card
When your note is cited, a citation card appears in the right panel of the original note. You can directly visit the other person's note via the citation card.


### When the cited note's reading permission is limited...
If the cited note is a limited note, a lock icon is displayed on the citation card, which is visible only to those who have access to the note.


### How to hide Citation Card?
If you have access to the source notes, you can choose to hide or show the citation card.


### Citation notification

When your public note is cited in a public note, you will be notified and will be able to view the content of the note and see how your post has inspired or influenced other users.
