# Syndicate Commander Information Packet ###### tags: `incursion` `herbstation` Welcome, commander. Your upcoming task is indeed perilous, so do read this information carefully. It is pertinent to the successful completion of your objectives. ## The SSV Altai You have command of the SSV Altai, a Cairngorm-class Battlecruiser. It should be outfitted with enough supplies and armaments for the conduct of your mission. We hope. ### Altai's Armoury The Altai's stocks of armaments has, due to prior logistical issues with other members of the Cairngorm-class, has been retrofitted to contain an armoury with a significantly more limited selection of weapons, armour, and other materiel. The Armoury is command access only, meaning only you will be able to open and close the doors and windows. As such, distributing the weapons should ideally be done in an orderly fashion, handing out each individual operative their desired (or assigned) loadout. The various loadouts that your armoury is equipped with include: - Specialists; armed with assault rifles - Fireteam leader; armed with shotguns - Combat medic; armed with SMGs and carrying medical supplies - Combat engineer; armed with LMGs Each loadout comes with a throwable of some description, either a flashbang or a fragmentation grenade. ### The Fireteam Designator Aboard the Altai are devices which can appoint members of your crew to subordinate command positions (fireteam leader). The fireteam designators, which the commander of the ship spawns with, can be used to assign a targeted individual to a specific fireteam in much the same manner as a hand labeler. This also, if the individual is wearing a headset, assigns that headset to the relevant fireteam's private radio channel (prefix :g). Designating someone as a fireteam leader does nothing mechanically other than give them a different radio icon from the rest of their fireteam. You, being the leader, will have access to every radio channel from the start. Your poor ears... ### The Syndicate QuikDrop Beacon In your hand spawns a beacon that allows you to load a crate or locker into its database by clicking on it. When you use the beacon in-hand after loading something, it will send a drop pod to your location containing that crate. Beware, this thing only has one use, and will disintegrate upon being spent! ### The NT Employee Pinpointer The pinpointer is a device that will point to the nearest living NanoTrasen employee on the same Z-level. Use it to track down and eliminate any crew members that are foolish enough to hide. ### The Body Camera In the Altai's armoury, there are enough body cameras to equip the four leaders of each fireteam (or really whichever four people you want to give them to). These can be worn in the accessory slot and the feed from them can be viewed using one of the Altai's camera computers or the handheld camera monitor that spawns in the Altai's CIC (Bridge). **Only the camera monitors and computers that spawn on the Altai can access your body cameras, so don't forget the monitor if you need it!** ## The Mission Your team must board NanoTrasen's research installation and eliminate all the employees inside. Do try to minimise damage, we do want it intact after you're done. It is almost certain that the employees inside are ready for you. Act accordingly.
