# Incursion Event Brief ###### tags: `incursion` `herbstation` ## What you know - You are a Syndicate Operative (unless you have otherwise cleared it up with me) serving aboard the **SSV Altai**, a Cairngorm-class battlecruiser in the service of the Syndicate. Your vessel, under a cloaking field to evade detection, has been surveiling this place for weeks. Today's the day. - Given that combat is the primary thing you'll be engaging in, most of the RP you'll get will be with the rest of your crew. - You generally have no idea who your opposition is. Not until the commander briefs you all in the round. - Follow the directives of your superior officers and the overall commander (played by **Merlin1230#6112**) to the best of your ability. - You may be assigned **Fireteam Leader**, a position that gives you seniority over the rest of the people in your fireteam; should your faction choose to divvy people up into smaller units. Each fireteam (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta) **has their own radio frequency**. - The Syndicate, under its own supply constraints, is unlikely to have supplied your ship with the due amount of equipment it requires to complete your mission. Feel free to send a message to High Command via the wideband relay aboard your vessel if you need anything, or yell loud enough into your headset. - Please roleplay! I'll try not to push you too hard. Hopefully, though, it won't be too easy.
