# BB1: Representation/Mapping For this assignment, you will produce a "representational map" for each chapter read from Baym's book. Each map should relate in some direct way to the chapter key concept(s), and to some part of your "digital life." How do the topics Baym develops relate to your own life? These maps have an open form: they can be a short essay, a series of drawings, images, a mind/concept map, etc. There is no "right" way to perform this building block, as long as it relates to Baym's narrative and to yourselves. Each should include a short paragraph explaining what you are trying to accomplish in this 'representation', and how it connects to the chapter and its key concept(s). You will produce six short pieces: 1. Representation 1: based on Baym chapter 1, including minimum 1 paragraph explanation 2. Representation 2: based on Baym chapter 2, including minimum 1 paragraph explanation 3. Representation 3: based on Baym chapter 3, including minimum 1 paragraph explanation 4. Representation 5: based on Baym, chapter 5, including minimum 1 paragraph explanation 5. Representation 6: based on Baym, chapter 6, including minimum 1 paragraph explanation Combine into a single submission. It's ok to have fun with this first assignment, but they should be thoughtful. (We’ll be discussing some of your representations on Week 37. So please, bring some of your in-progress representations!)
