# Emails & Comms

### System Comms
The system will send out auto-notifications for the following events:
- Registration Confirmation
- Daily Digest

These auto-emails can be managed in the user settings/preferences:

### Canvas
*(**Note**: Canvas is currently pending updates to be granted GDPR compliance and can only be used by site admins)*


On the Canvas screen, there is a table that shows all the previously created Canvas messages sent as a part of the program you are in. To review any of these, click on the desried option and you will view the Canvas message:


To send a new Canvas, select the Add Canvas buton on the top right of the screen:


Here you will set up the Canvas by entering a title, selecting the team the message will be created for (in its current state this will always be Admin), the audience (Microsoft vs Partner), the type of email (Transactional vs Promotional), Email content type (OFT or creating one from scratch), Whether you would like to include a survey or a webpage to go alongside your Canvas message, and finally the SMP Privacy review ticket number for the approval of sending out the message

Once this is all entered, click submit.


You will then be sent to a screen as pictured above. From here, you can input an OFT if selected to do so or add email content. Once your email content has been inputted, you may submit for privacy review (this step is currently disabled as we are working on a new way to gain approval)


(NOTE: Currently only ADMIN can send out Canvas messages and can bypass this privacy review step as it is done externally at current)

Once the Canvas has been created, you can send it by clicking on the SEND button either on the Canvas main page or within the Canvas itself.


On this screen, you can select free form emails to send to or you can go through the directory within the tool per partner.

Once all the users you wish to send to are selected, you can schedule a time you wish the message to go out at.

CLick send to schedule your Canvas.

On the table and within the canvas you can see the amount of users yuo sent the email off to.
