## The dataset, search strategy, and filter

- Database: [LENS](lens.org) why? free, accessible, downloadble data, with many functional and customizeable visualizations
- Date harvested: 7th-9th April 2020
- Filter 1: `Publication Type` > `Datasets`
- Results: 1,840,538 Dataset
- Filter 2: `Subject Matter` > `Field of study`

- We selected geosciences/earth sciences-related field of studies:
- geography
- geology and geological survey
- archaeology
- hydrology and hidrography survey
- remote sensing
- meteorology
