# Polygon Grant Pipeline

After a quick glance at their Discord, I discovered they have a grants program currently setup...

It is a pretty generic form requesting email and telegram handle for points of contact.

- The discord seems to be pretty active and has several different cateogories for their various initiatives (very developer focused with hackathon, grants, and developer resources)
- Their general community category is kind of buried underneath the aforementioned categories - might be worth mentioning a slight discord revamp to establish a stronger funnel with a wider top.
- Overall, I think it would be pretty easy to integrate a similar system that we are establishing for MetaCartel.

## Scope

- Revamp the discord
- deploy ticketing system and train core team
- establish and train a guide team on the guide process
- learn their current process and try to utilize as much of the existing system as possible
- streamline the entire process
- remove google form
- keep human to human contact entire time
- engage the community with the grant requests (feedback)
- create onboarding materials for guides and grantees

## Guide process
- Unique guide discord role
- hand holding for grantees going through the process
- make them feel seen and heard
- get grantees prepared for a community pitch and forum proposal
- pass them off to a DAO member once approved
