## Workstreams Panel
AaronS:
Good mechanics of Work streams:
- Start with a goal
- Decide a way of working/hierarchy
- Measure contributor commitment
- Does it need funding?
- Making sure you cross workstream people as well

Lessons Learned:
- Hard to run just on bounties
- Overcomplication can plague a workstream/Keep governance process simple
- Be deliberate on motivation and compensation (intrinsic vs extrinsic)
- Use Cycles
- Stick to decision on way of working once decided (and/or wait until next cycle to make a change)

Dekan:
intrinsic vs extrinsic values of a workstream. Like mercenary vs missionary. Maybe one or the other is better but workstreams can accidentally create one or the other through the structure/comp/process
