#### Narrative

DAOhaus was born out of a community building coordination tools for themselves. It began in 2019 as Pokemol, a user interface for MetaCartel and other early Moloch DAOs to manage membership and vote on proposals. As more communities grew interested in Moloch DAOs, we built the original DAOhaus app to help them summon new DAOs without code.

### Proven Track Record

#### Narrative

As our community expanded, we saw the need for more robust tools. In Fall 2020, we began work on DAOhaus v2, funded by the community via a CCO (a DAO-based crowdfunding mechanism we pioneered).

The DAOhaus v2 platform combined Pokemol and the original DAOhaus app into a single platform. Along with a number of significant UX improvements, we expanded the new platform to multiple networks and introduced the concept of DAOhaus Boosts -- modular plugins that DAOs can add to give themselves new capabilities.

In early 2021, we summoned UberHaus -- a DAO of DAOs -- as the governing body of DAOhaus. We gave away a significant amount of power to the most prominent DAOs using DAOhaus, who became the founding members of UberHaus. The core contributers organized under a DAO called Warcamp, which is just one of the member DAOs and has less than 10% voting weight. At UberHaus' behest, Warcamp now acts as a (non-exclusive) delegate to build the DAOhaus platform and cultivate its economy.


[The DAO community loves DAOhaus v2](https://daohaus.club/review/)! All told, there have been over 2000 DAOs summoned on the DAOhaus platform, currently at a clip of **250 new DAOs per month**. Those DAOs have been busy, executing **2500 proposals** and handling around **$20M of monthly inflows and outflows**.

On the community front, DAOhaus and UberHaus continue to experiment and innovate. In just the last few months, the community incubated the [first ever LP DAO](https://medium.com/daohaus-club/poolhaus-and-decentralised-liquidity-provision-ced87ffe656) with Poolhaus, experimented with adversarial governance in [Wargames](https://hackmd.io/i7E2RQrgRXOiked3fhwBVA), and pioneered a [new approach](https://twitter.com/nowdaoit/status/1468318889763168258?s=20) to flexible contributor compensation.

## DAOhaus Tomorrow

DAOhaus has big plans in 2022 and beyond:

#### PLATFORM: DAOhaus V3

1. Modular platform ==> goal is enabling permissionless Boost development while maintaining seamless UX
- **Thesis**:
- Protocol DAOs have super-specialized needs and resources to build their own custom interfaces for members, but don't care as much about human-friendly UX (comparison: enterprise software like SharePoint)
- Community DAOs are focused primarily on supporting their members and therefore want a human-friendly UX even while they want access to the tools they need to operate (comparison: consumer platforms / app stores like iOS)
- A more modular DAOhaus platform gives community DAOs access to the exploding ecosystem of DAO tooling while maintaining the human-friendly UX they crave
2. More flexibility, optionality, and customization for DAOs across their entire lifecycle

3. New ways to summon DAOs: Yeeter and CCOs
4. Decentralize the DAOhaus platform stack

**What you get**:

1. a POAP commemorating your contribution
2. Non-voting shares in the contributor DAO, giving you exit rights over the ETH you contribute
3. As DAOhaus spends the ETH to build stuff (with your approval), you receive HAUS tokens in proportion to your contribution (100 HAUS per ETH)

**Where your ETH goes**:

* 80% to the UberHaus treasury to fund the vision and roadmap described above
* The majority will go to funding the Warcamp subDAO of core contributors ==> the goal is to expand our contributors by up to 2x
* Some will remain with UberHaus to help fund ecosystem activities
* 20% into a Balancer liquidity pool to support sustainable access to HAUS
